Formula to calculate the inductance L of a coil is

\(L = \frac{{N\phi }}{I}\)

Where

N is the number of turns

ϕ is the magnetic flux

I is current

**Calculation:**

Given that,

N = 50

ϕ = 200 µWb

I = 8 A

Therefore, the inductance L of a coil is

\(L = \frac{{50 \times 200 \times {{10}^{ - 6}}}}{8} = 1.25\;mH\)
