What are the smallest BJT transistors available in 2024?

This Diodes Inc. document provides a good overview of some of the smaller BJT packages The smallest available transistors are available in 0.8x0.6mm DFN packages.

Different manufactures have different names for this package:

• Rohm VML0806 (but I couldn’t find BJTs with this package, only MOSFETs)
• Diodes Inc: DFN0806-3 or X2-DFN0806-3

These are some of the transistors available in this package:

BJTs

NPN parts:

• Diodes Inc MMBT3904FA, 40V, 200mA, 435mW: LCSC

PNP parts:

• Diodes Inc MMBT3906FA, -40V, 200mA, 435mW: Not available on LCSC, Mouser

MOSFETs

Although this post is specifically about BJTs, if you want to use a MOSFET instead, these are small 0.8x0.6mm MOSFETs which turned up while researching the BJTs
