Where to find which harmonized standards apply for a given EU directive

You can check out the European Commission Single Market economy page for information about harmonized standards related to various EU directives.

On that page, first select the directive or regulation you are interested in - for example, select Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU).

Now, scroll down to the section titled Summary list of titles and references of harmonised standards under Directive .... There, you can click on either Summary list as pdf document or Summary list as xls file to download a list of harmonized standards that apply to the selected directive.

You will be directed to a page on ec.europa.eu where you can download the file.

Keep in mind that the presumption of conformity applies only if the standard has officially been cited in the OJEU (the web page we investigated is a official summary of what has been published in OJEU) - not automatically if the standard exists and has been published by CEN/CENELEC or ETSI.
