V tomto postu ukážeme, jak vytvořit micro labels pro 2.54mm electronics konektory pomocí Brother P750W thermo transfer printer a free Brother P-Touch Editor software.
Pro tento příklad, použijeme standard 9mm tape (používám chinese knock-off black-on-white tape, který funguje well), což je good fit pro Dupont-style konektory. Nicméně, můžete také použít 6mm tape.
Nejprve, všimněte si, že tohle funguje **pouze pokud printujete pomocí High-resolution mode.**Můžete to konfigurovat at top left v Brother P-Touch Editor. V době psaní tohoto postu, používám verzi 5.4.

Nejprve, přidáme separating lines. Každá line by měla být as wide as tape (9mm v tomto příkladu). Můžete nechat line thickness na default values.
Formula pro line position measured from the top je 2mm + i*2.54mm s i=0..n. Horizontal position by měl být vždy 0mm.
Všimněte si, že i když properties dialog ukazuje jen numbers rounded to mm, will accept fractional millimeter inputs jako 4.54mm!.
Všimněte si, že musíte použít language-specific decimal separator sign, takže v Německu musíte zadat 4,54mm s comma separate, zatímco skoro všude jinde musíte zadat 4.54mm.
Text boxes by měly být made as wide as tape, jejich horizontal position being 0mm a jejich vertical position being 2mm + i*2.54mm + 0.1mm s i=0..n. 0.1mm offset je neccessary, aby text center properly, mostly due to line height.

Kromě toho, main aspect to consider je, že nemůžete print 100% tape width, takže pokud chcete fit more characters do single text line, možná budete schopni decrease text size slightly.
