Python CFFI-Paket findet Include-Datei bei pip install nicht beheben

Problem:

Wenn das Paket lokal mit python setup.py install installiert wird, werden alle Include-Dateien gefunden und das Paket wird korrekt installiert

Wenn jedoch pip install ausgeführt wird, fehlen dem Compiler einige Include-Dateien

Lösung

Höchstwahrscheinlich landet die Include-Datei nicht im sdist, d.h. der Source-Distribution-.tar.gz-Datei. Um sie einzubinden, eine MANIFEST.in-Datei im selben Ordner wie setup.py erstellen, um setuptools mitzuteilen, was zusätzlich zu den direkt in setup.py referenzierten Dateien einbezogen werden soll.

In meinem Fall befinden sich die Include-Dateien im Ordner src, daher füge ich dies zur MANIFEST.in hinzu:

MANIFEST.in
graft src/

Um zu überprüfen, ob das funktioniert hat, ausführen

build_sdist.sh
python setup.py sdist

was anzeigt, welche Dateien in der Source-Distribution enthalten sind. Beispiel:
