O tempo de carga RC é o tempo necessário para um capacitor carregar a uma porcentagem específica da sua tensão final através de um resistor.
$$ t = -\tau \ln(1 - \text{ratio}) $$onde $\tau = RC$ é a constante de tempo e a ratio é a tensão alvo como fração da tensão final (ex., 0.90 para 90%).
